Our Story
Founded in 2009 by 1-2 founders passionate about Oxford fabric, our company grew from a family workshop to a global operator. Focused on weaving and international trade of Oxford fabric, luggage fabric and tent fabric, we’ve built a bridge between China’s quality textile capacity and global demand through quality commitment and market insight. Now, our products steadily serve markets like the US, Argentina, India, South Korea and Spain, and we’ve established a brand image of “durability” and “environmental protection” in outdoor gear and luggage manufacturing.
Established in 2009
In a story rooted in textile manufacturing, Jack Shen founded the Fabric Company, which engages in the bag fabric manufacturing, production, and domestic as well as international sales of textiles.
Benmao Factory
The original site of Benmao Textile Factory (as shown in the image) was where the factory undertook the manufacturing of Oxford fabric; currently, due to environmental protection requirements, it has been relocated to another province.
GuangZhou Exhibition
Opportunities from domestic and international trade fairs in 2014 drove Benmao Textile Factory to engage with overseas clients, expand into the foreign trade market, and provide high-quality Oxford fabric for overseas customers.
Expand Company market
After two years of technical accumulation and customer development, the company reached its first long-term cooperation with a textile trading firm in New Delhi, India—a pivotal milestone in unlocking the South Asian market. By the end of the year, the sales team had grown to 8 members, and a preliminary “production + sales” division of labor was established, laying a team foundation for subsequent business expansion.
Faster Delivering Stock Warehouse
In response to the need for fast order flow, Benmao Textile established a dedicated warehouse to meet its growing business demands.
Non-Woven & anti-epidemic Fabric Developement
Recognizing the surging global demand for anti-epidemic materials, the company initiated R&D in non-woven fabrics and protective clothing – a strategic expansion beyond its core Oxford cloth business (which focuses on durability for luggage/tents).
Online Sales
Affected by the global COVID – 19 epidemic, offline business channels such as traditional exhibitions and on – site negotiations were severely blocked. In response to this situation, the company quickly adjusted its business strategy and accelerated the layout of online sales.
